There were a few naked women hanging around (pun intended). The men would pay to get their picture taken with them. One way to make a living.

Don’t know what the ad was, but it was so romantic, I had to take a picture.

Look close and you can see more naked girls. They had barely there bottoms and no tops. They have red, white and blue feathers on their heads. Just painted breasts.

My chocolate RITA (Everyone got one at the award ceremony. It tasted like Easter Bunny.)

I couldn’t resist and got Meda to take this picture while in our cab. HELLO KITTY! GIANT HELLO KITTY that is.

They did a presentation and opened this wall. Then you saw NYC from way above.

Food! This was one of the good restaurants. Sadly, I forgot the name but it was near the theater.

My latest ad. It will be placed in the RWA magazine/book/program for the conference in New York. So can’t wait! The trip will be so much fun. I’ve never been there. Yes. I will probably be one of those tourist craning my neck at the tall buildings, getting in everyone’s way. HA!

Be sure to let me know what you think about the ad. If something negative (misspelling, etc.), let me know. I want it to be perfect.

Sadly, when it shows up in the magazine it will be in black and white. I checked that out, and it looks good, but not as good as color.

Hey, if you’re wondering, that’s Birmingham, Alabama USA in the background. I took the picture from a side road near my day job one morning.

Where’s Carla?

Guess what I found out today? My workshop with Lexi George and Heather Leonard has been picked for the Moonlight and Magnolias conference in Norcross, GA this October. We’re so excited. Twice we’ve presented it (and I was so freaking stiff – got to work on that – so unlike me) for groups of writers.

It’s called The Pitch is Back. Yeah, yeah. Not very original, but it works and I plan to play the Elton John song (appropriate considering he lives in Atlanta part of the time) The Bitch is Back while waiting for people to sit. Anyway, it will be a lot of fun to attend as we actually act out how to behave and not behave with an editor and agent. Not just telling you BUT REALLY SHOWING IT! HA! It’s a lot of laughs.
